LIFE+ projects in which Forest Research is involved

About LIFE+

LIFE+ (The Financial Instrument for the Environment) is the EU’s financial instrument supporting environmental and nature conservation projects throughout the EU, as well as in some candidate, acceding and neighbouring countries. LIFE+ aims to create new solutions to EU environmental problems, to assist the implementation, development and enhancement of EU environmental policy and legislation, and to integrate the environment into other EU policies.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2012, the LIFE+ programme has so far co-financed some 2,750 projects, contributing approximately €1.35 billion to the protection of the environment.. The LIFE+ website has a searchable database of these projects.
