Directions to Exeter Field Station

By road

From M5:

• Continue along M5 which then splits into two dual carriageways at Kennford - A380 and A38
• Take right hand (A38) fork signposted for Plymouth
• Dual carriageway goes steeply uphill, on almost brow of hill there is turning signposted "race course and forest walks" - take this (warning there is no slip road!)
• At mini roundabout turn right, under dual carriageway and follow this road for just over a mile
• About 50m after a staggered crossroads on the left is the entrance to Peninsula Forest District and the field station.

From A38 (heading from Plymouth):

• Follow A38 up long hill after Chudleigh exit
• At brow of hill immediately after little chef restaurant take slip road on left
• Turn left at T junction
• Follow this road for just over a mile
• About 50m after a staggered crossroads on the left is the entrance to Peninsula Forest District and the field station.

By public transport

• FlyBe plane to Exeter Airport
• Train to Exeter St David's station
• Bus to Chudleigh.

Note that no public transport gets particularly close to Exeter Field Station and it is recommended that a taxi is used.
