Technical Services Unit (TSU) have a long history and excellent reputation for experiment management, and provides a complete service from statistically valid experiment designs through to the production of scientific reports. This includes:
- Assistance in experiment design and planning
- Establishing, maintaining and assessing field experiments.
Given the national coverage of our field stations, our close liason with Forest Districts, Conservancies, private forestry companies and local landowners, we are ideally placed to locate the exact site requirements for specific experiments.
The emphasis in forest research has changed in recent times with an increasing trend towards environmental and social forestry. We keep pace with these changing demands and continually update skills and qualifications necessary to meet our customers requirements.
Our field station staff are trained in the use of a range of assessment and data capture equipment, and IT packages.
