Getting to Northern Research Station by road

 

From Edinburgh

• Take A703 or A701 from Edinburgh
• At roundabout at junction of these roads, continue on A701
• After approximately half a mile, turn right onto the Bush Estate
• After approximately one mile turn right
• The entrance to the Northern Research Station is approximately 100 metres on the right.

From A702 south

• After junction with A766 to Penicuik, continue for approximately 5 miles
• At Easter Howgate, turn right onto Bush Estate
• Turn left after approximately half a mile
• The entrance to the Northern Research Station is approximately 100 metres on the right.

From A701 or A703 south

• At junction of A701, A703 take A6094 north towards Dalkeith
• After two miles where A6094 turns sharp right, continue straight on B7026
• Turn right at junction with A701
• After approximately half a mile, turn left onto the Bush Estate
• After approximately one mile turn right
• The entrance to the Northern Research Station is approximately 100 metres on the right.
