Technical Development

BRACKI SCARIFIER PREPARING GROUNDTechnical Development evaluates and develops forestry methods and machinery for greater efficiency, improved ergonomics and safety and reduced environmental impact. Topics range from farm and small scale woodland operations to large scale upland forestry and land reclamation.

This work is perfomed by foresters on tours of specialist duty, who are also trained work study practitioners.

Services

Technical Development Services perform a wide range of evaluation and development work on forestry and associated operations both for the Forestry Commission and for external agencies and organisations on a contract basis.
