HYPHOLOMA FASCICULARE . Decay in an ornamental rhododendron caused by this fungus . Because of the long narrow strip of dead bark which is not recorded as a consequence of invasion by this fungus , it seems likely that the initial killing was due to chrondrostereum purpureum and that hypholoma fasciculare invaded later via a killed branch . Location: Alice Holt , Hampshire , England .
