BISTON BETULARIA . An example of biological control in nature .  A larva of the pepper and salt moth is shown with cocoons of a small Braconid parasite attached to its body .  On completing development as larvae inside their host the parasites bore through the skin and small yellow cocoons are spun , which on drying fall to the ground .
