Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre

After the recent violent storms the Visitor Centre and most of the walking and cycling trails are now open as normal.

The mountain bike trails are all now open with some minor diversions. All of the other facilities are also open with the exception of the orienteering courses, and Geocache routes.

Unfortunately the Go-Ape hire wires course will be closed until further notice due to storm damage

Please stay on the waymarked trails and obey all signage. Further updates will be provided via the website and Coed y Brenin facebook page as they become available.

Coed y Brenin visitor centre is the gateway to Coed y Brenin Forest Park. Try our world-class mountain bike trails, family walks, café, cycle shop, all-ability play area and an easy access trail.

Mountain Biking at Coed y Brenin

Mountain Biking

  • Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Home> Coed y Brenin was the first dedicated trail centre in the UK, and still the largest.  7 single-track trails cover 140km, five of which are red or above - a great combination of natural trails and armoured man-made sections offering some truly epic riding.
