About Garwnant Visitor Centre
GARWNANT VISITOR CENTRE, TRAILS, PLAY AREA AND CAR PARK IS CLOSED. THERE WILL BE A PHASED REOPENING FROM 17TH JULY 2009. HOWEVER THE CAFE WILL NOT REOPEN AT THIS TIME AND THERE WILL ONLY BE LIMITED REFRESHMENTS AVAILABLE.
How to get there:
Garwnant Visitor Centre is in Coed Taf Fawr which is part of Brecon Beacons National Park Forests. Merthyr Tydfil is the nearest town or village.
Garwnant is situated just off the A470 5 miles north of Merthyr Tydfil. It is well sign posted from the A470.
It can be found on OS Landranger Map 160 and Outdoor Leisure 12.
Public Transport is provided by Stagecoach 0870 6082608. There is also a Beacons Bus Service which runs on Bank Holidays and Sundays throughout the summer -Tel. 01873 853254
