Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre

 

Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre is the focal point in the beautiful Forest Park. It is renowned for its world class mountain bike trails that offer exhilarating and challenging riding in a woodland setting. There is a cosy restaurant/café and cycle shop (sales, repair, hire) on the site - opening hours as listed. There are information leaflets on a number of family walking trails for those on foot, and there is an all-ability play area and all-ability trail leading to the riverside picnic site located next to the visitor centre. Opening Hours: Forestry Commission Ranger Service, 7 days per week 09.30-16.30, 01341 440747. The Restaurant/Cafe "Bwyd y Brenin" is open 7 days per week, from 10am until 4pm Mon to Fri and 9am until 5pm Sat and Sun. Enquiries: 01341 440742. The bike shop/hire centre - "Beics Brenin" - June 1st to 30th September (+ Easter and Spring Bank Holiday): 7 day opening, minimum 10am – 5pm - 1st October to 31st May: 5 Day opening, 10am – 5pm or dusk. Facilities:

	Superb all-ability access to the visitor centre and surrounding site including the childrens play area.
	There are 4 easy access all-ability trails in the Forest Park, at the visitor centre, Tyn y Groes, Glasdir and the Forest Garden.

	Salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing available on the Afon Eden- permits from Prysor Angling Association
	Two orienteering courses, both starting and finishing at the Visitor Centre. An easy (yellow) route, suitable for beginners/children and two harder routes on the longer course (red and light green). Maps and information available from the visitor centre.
	All- ability facilities built on three tiers, including a 1.5 tonne turning stone!
