Recreation at Pen Arthur

A fine example of peaceful co-existence between broadleaf and conifer trees. Over the past years this wood has been professionally thinned to produce a pleasing combination of mature trees and interesting woodland walks.

How to get there:

Pen Arthur is part of Towy Valley Forests. Llangadog is the nearest town or village.

Unfortunately there is no public transport near to this wood. By vehicle take the scenic mountain road from Llangadog to Brynamman (A4069). The entrance is found on the right 2 miles out of Llangadog.
