Talley Community Woodlands are managed by Talley Community Association and Forest Commission. The project was funded by Cydcoed. When Talley Community Woodlands open in January 2004 they will have a network of footpaths and viewpoints. The Arboretum was planted by members of the community and Forest Enterprise on St Davids Day 2003.

What's of interest
Talley Abbey was built in approximately 1185, It is now maintained by Cadw. The name Talley has been derived from its Welsh name Tal-y-Llychau which means "Head of the Lakes".
