About Cwm Rhaeadr

Welcome to Cwm Rhaeadr or valley of the waterfall.  This beautiful woodland jewel has something for everyone. Having won the Royal Welsh Show gold medal for forestry in 2007 and 2009 why not come and explore it using one of our walks, cycle trail or the all ability trail.  Cwm Rhaeadr has a range of delicate and beautiful wildflowers, from the blue bells in springtime to the mosses ferns and fungi, dragonflies are often seen on the ponds in late summer you may even be lucky enough to see the elusive pine marten and beautiful red kite on your visit.

How to get there:

Cilycwm and Llanymddyfri are the nearest towns or villages.

Follow signs for Cilycwm from the A482 or A483 (near Llandovery). Once in Cilycwm village continue northwards towards Llyn Brianne Reservoir until signs for Cwm Rhaeadr are seen.
