Braes of Foss Car Park
 

Car park and picnic area with spaces for 30+ cars. This is the main starting point for climbing Schiehallion - one of Scotland's most popular and distinctive Munro's.

How to get there:

Braes of Foss Car Park is in Braes Of Foss which is part of Tay Forest Park. Tummel Bridge is the nearest town or village.

Turn west off B 846 (Tummel Bridge to Aberfedly) at Tomphubil by Loch Kinardochy then continue west for a mile. The entrance to the car park (on the left) is marked by a stone monument to Neville Maskelyne, one-time Astronomer Royal.
