The car park and picnic area on the western edge of this forest is the most popular starting point for climbing Schiehallion.

How to get there:

Tummel Bridge is the nearest town or village.
OS Grid Reference:

Turn west off the B 846 Tummel Bridge to Aberfeldy road at Tomphubil, by Loch Kinardochy at the top of the hill. Head west for about a mile. Car park is on the left.
