About Kinnoull Hill

Kinnoull Hill offers pleasant walks through attractive birch and oak woodland. Red squirrel and deer are frequently seen in and around the small stands of larch and Scots pine.

There are good views of the Ochills and the Lomond hills can be seen from the cliff-tops.

How to get there:

Kinnoull Hill is part of Kinnoull Hill Woodland Park. Perth is the nearest town or village.

From Bridgend, go up Muirhall Road for one mile then along Corsiehill Road to Quarry Car, or continue on Muirhall Road for a further half mile to Jubilee car park.

There is a regular bus service from Perth.

Alternately, walk via Queen's or Silver bridge from Perth and join footpath above Branklyn Gardens.

Kinnoull Tower was built in the 18th century to imitate the castles on the River Rhine in Germany.
