About Balblair car park
Car park access to a lovely mixed conifer forest with two walks tracking through an area of straight stemmed mature spruce, larch and pine.
The shorter loop reaches a small recently restored pond, which is a haven for insect and bug life. The longer walk offers the finest views towards the Carbisdale Castle and down the Firth to Struie Hill.
Balblair is also home to the Kyle of Sutherland Mountain Bike black and blue trails.
