Shin Falls
 

This large car park is suitable for coaches. All the walks start from the Falls of Shin visitor centre. The Riverside Walk runs through the forest before following the River Shin back to the salmon leap viewpoint spur. West of the centre are two loops walks.

How to get there:

Shin Falls is in Achany which is part of Sutherland. Lairg is the nearest town or village.

Take the A839 West of Lairg and about half a mile out of the village turn left down the B864, following signs for Shin Falls.

This Access Point is next to the Shin Falls Visitor Centre run by Pete Campbell. There is excellent views of salmon jumping in the river nearby.
