About Glen Brittle

Glen Brittle forest is a planted, conifer forest within the very dramatic setting of Glen Brittle. The stark, wide glen is towered over by the imposing ridge of the Black Cuilllins.

There are two carparks in Glen Brittle from where you can head off to the hills, have a picnic or just admire the views!

How to get there:

Merkadale, Sligachan, Eynort, Portree, Broadford, and Isle Of Skye are the nearest towns or villages.

From the main Kyleakin to Portree road on Skye - the A850, at Sligachan take the A863, after five miles, turn left along the B8009, then left again at the road signposted to Glen Brittle.
