Dog Falls is a stunning carpark set in the middle of the Caledonian pinewoods.

How to get there:

Dog Falls Carpark is in Glen Affric.

From either Beauly or Drumnadrochit, take the A831 to Cannich, then the unclassified road through Cannich which is signposted Glen Affric.

After two miles, at the Fasnakyle power station, turn right up to Glen Affric. Dog Falls car park is a further two and a half miles along.

Cannich, Tomich, Struy, Beauly, Balnain, Drumnadrochit, and Inverness are the nearest towns or villages.

Our first visit to this part of Scotland and we were so impressed with all the forestry commission's sites, all routes well marked , with leaflets show detailed walks, however why are no refuse bins provided in the car parks?

Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to ensure that any bins are regularly emptied so we have not installed any. We very much appreciate the fact that our visitors care enough about the forests to take their litter home with them and dispose of it properly.
