Former Balmacara Campsite
 

Two forest walks in Balmacara forest set out from the former Balmacara campsite - the Red and Blue walks. You can also join the walks from the end of the forest next to Balmacara Square.

How to get there:

Former Balmacara Campsite is in Balmacara. Balmacara, Reraig, and Kirkton are the nearest towns or villages.

The former Balmacara campsite is about three miles east of Kyle of Lochalsh. From the A87 Kyle to Invergarry road, turn up the road signposted to Balmacara Square. , There is a twice daily bus sevice between Inverness and Skye that stops along the A87.
