Farigaig Forest is a varied mix of planted conifers of different ages and native broadleaved woodlands. Many animals and birds thrive here. There are spectacular viewpoints - but Farigaig's autumn colours are best viewed from north Loch Ness. Farigaig is adjacent to the B852, near Inverfarigaig, on the south side of Loch Ness. There is a carpark, picnic area, toilets and a network of waymarked walks.

How to get there:

Farigaig is part of Great Glen Forest. Inverfarigaig, Foyers, Whitebridge, and Inverness are the nearest towns or villages.

Farigaig forest surrounds the village of Inverfarigaig, adjacent to the B852.
There is a limited bus service from Inverness to Foyers that stops at Inverfarigaig.
