Allt Mor Car Park

About Allt Mor Car Park

The Alt Mor car park is the starting point for two trails, one of which is suitable for wheelchairs and the less-able. The top bays in the car park are reserved for disabled use. This new car park was built in 1996 amongst Caledonian Pine Forest.

It is also a good point for starting to walk into Bynack More, following the Alt Mor Forest Trail to the Ryvoan Trail.

Car Park Charges

Please note, the following car park charges apply at Allt Mor

  • 1 hr all vehicles - £1
  • Car upto 3 hrs - £1.50
  • Car all day - £2
  • Minibus/Coach all day - £8

 

 

How to get there:

Allt Mor Car Park is in Glenmore which is part of Glenmore Forest Park.
Take the ski road from Aviemore towards the Cairngorms and after six miles you will be in Glenmore Forest Park.
Go through Glenmore Village and cross the bridge over the Abhainn Ruigh-eunachan. The Allt Mor car park is approximately 0.75 miles beyond the bridge on the left hand side of the road (a green Forest Enterprise sign indicates the access point).
Aviemore is the nearest town or village.
