Recreation at Ormaig
 

Situated in the Kilmartin Valley, Ormaig wood has an extraordinary concentration of diverse archaeological features. The forest is a short walk from Kilmartin village. A network of forest roads lead through the forest to the shores of Loch Craignish.

How to get there:

Kilmartin is the nearest town or village.

From Glasgow-
Follow the A82 to Tarbet then the A83 through Inveraray to Lochgilphead. From Lochgilphead follow the A816 north to Kilmartin. Ormaig forest is approx. 1.5Km to the north west of Kilmartin.
From Oban-
Follow the A816 south to Kilmartin.
