Colour rating today: turned golden turned golden
Climb the hill to view the wonderful autumnal colours. Starting with the birch, leaves turn yellow. Then the rowan tunrs next. Look for the bright yellow needles on the larch. Millstone Hill is a great vantage point to see the autumn colours along the Lord's Throat.

How to get there:

Inverurie, Insch, Aberdeen, and Alford are the nearest towns or villages.

By road, or by train to Inverurie or Insch, or by bus to Pitcaple. See individual Car Parks for detailed instructions.
