North Drumtochty
 

Some of the trails in Fetteresso are closed for harvesting work. Signs tell you which routes are affected.

North Drumtochty is very popular with walkers and cyclists and has a great range of forest habitats, including mature 100 year old trees, dense young forest, and open wildlife ponds. Recreation facilities include long waymarked forest trails, shorter waymarked forest walks, and picnic areas.

How to get there:

North Drumtochty is part of Fetteresso Forest. Fettercairn, Auchenblae, Strachan, Banchory, and Stonehaven. are the nearest towns or villages.

North Drumtochty is attached to the south west of Fetteresso forest, between the Cairn O'Mount road and Auchenblae. There is a car park, and details how to get there is given in that section.
