Foggieton Car Park
 

Sections of the trails in Foggieton are closed at the moment due to fallen trees. Please obey all signs for your own safety.

This woodland car park is surrounded by beech trees and has two waymarked forest walks leading from it.

We ask cyclists and horse riders not to use this wood but suggest that you visit Kirkill where special facilities have been created.

How to get there:

Foggieton Car Park is in Foggieton Wood which is part of Aberdeen Woods. Bieldside, Cults, Milltimber, Peterculter, Westhill, Kingswells, Hazlehead, and Aberdeen are the nearest towns or villages.

If driving on the A93, take the unclassified road to the north at the junction at the church in Bieldside. Car park is sign posted on the right approximately two kilometres from the junction. If driving on the A944, take the unclassified road to the south at the Kingswells roundabout, turn right at the T-junction then first left. Car park is signposted on the left approximately three kilometres from the roundabout.

What's of interest
Work is underway in Foggieton woods to replant the clear fell area. There are plans to create new paths, a story trail, a pond with viewing platform, an all abilities trail and a grassy picnic/ play area. The wood will never close while this work is going on.
