Alice Holt Christmas Tree Sales Centre

Our Christmas Tree Sales Centre is now closed

The range of real Christmas trees includes traditional Norway spruce, dense, bushy pines and shapely firs to choose from.

The Sales Centre will be open from 9:30am to 4:30pm everyday until trees are sold out - all stock has been sold and the Sale Centre is now closed.

We only sell trees that are grown in the UK and in a well-managed way. More trees are planted every year than are harvested.

Top tips to keep a real Christmas trees looking good
1) Store in a cool place before bringing indoors
2) Keep away from direct heat
3) Cut half an inch off the stump and stand in a container full of water
4) Water regularly - a Christmas tree can 'drink' up to a pint of water a day

Post your Christmas tree photos to our Flicker site and the best dressed tree will win two tickets to a forest concert of your choice.

How to get there:

Alice Holt Christmas Tree Sales Centre is in Alice Holt Forest Centre which is part of Alice Holt Forest.
From the A31 turn off at Farnham onto the A325 going south. Stay on the A325 for appromimately three miles then turn left following signs to the Woodland Park. The nearest station is at Bentley. From here you can walk through Alice Holt Forest to the Woodland park along public rights of way.Alternatively take the train to Farnham and catch a bus to the Woodland Park. The Christmas Tree Sales Centre is situated opposite Playwood, behind the Forest Centre.
Farnham is the nearest town or village.

The trees last year were really healthy and mine barely dropped any needles. In fact it stayed green (laying down outside with no water) until mid-february! The staff were really helpful, if a little hard on the sales! But the tree range is great, plenty of different heights to choose from, and they help you to the car with it. More lights might be helpful as its difficult to see the trees with the few lights they have.

We bought lovely 9ft Christmas trees from Alice Holt last year and 2009. However we were very diappointed this year because the selection was very poor. All the trees were very good quality but were all the same size, around 6ft. There were no 8-9ft trees at all. We drove from Teddington, so used a lot of diesel and time on a wasted jouney. Please say on your website what size trees you have next year.

Peter, thank you for your comment and we're disappointed that you didn't find the right size tree. The 27th was our first day of opening and we were busy bringing in our freshly cut trees directly from the forest. It's possible that at the time of your visit we may not have had our full range of sizes in stock. However we do now and will endeavour to keep a full range of species and sizes as long as possible before Christmas.
