Wardley Wood is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a quiet valley and accessible only by public footpath, the wood is tranquil place to watch the autumn spectacle.

How to get there:

Uppingham is the nearest town or village.

Wardley wood can be accessed on foot using the public footpaths from Uppingham (B79) and Wardley village (E248).
