Been cycling up the pines now going on for a year and absolutely love the place, I dont know what people are complaining about ? they have all this vast woodland and purpose made tracks to ride on for FREE and they still want to complain, some people ! ... I run the green, blue and red route, cant fault either trail, what a rush, my only problem is people walking their dogs and they take up ALL the path and dont give any space for cyclists so I usually buzz them quite close, they need to understand they cant take the whole path and theres more people there than just them, other than path hoggers walking dogs and the like, the pines is amazing and were very lucky to have this on our doorstep, 10/10

Went for the first time this weekend to Sherwood Pines it was great. Managed not to fall off or break my bike. Being 30 and feeling 10 again on some of the red route sections. Don't know what people see as a problem with walkers not many about and us and them were all courtious. Will go back soon.

Quote Anonymous:- "" Excellent trail though have to agree with another comment on here about walkers. Cannock chase bans walkers from the red route and likewise the same needs to happen at Sherwood pines before someone has a accident. There are plenty of other places for walkers and dogs but the red route Kitchener trail is not the place for them."" The trouble is, Anonymous, that the bikers go on every tiny little track there is in Sherwood Pines, knocking walkers flying and giving them verbal abuse. Every track is getting churned up and there is no place for people to walk safely.. If only the Forestry Commission would dedicate separate tracks for walkers and bikers/Segway users there wouldn't be a problem. As it stands it is very dangerous and someone will be hurt badly before too long..
