About Simonside Car Park

Simonside car park offers a sheltered wooded picnic area, an information point (unmanned) and is the starting point for three waymarked, colour coded walking routes. Details of these walks are given at the information point in the car park.

How to get there:

Simonside Car Park is in Simonside which is part of Rothbury. Great Tosson and Rothbury are the nearest towns or villages.

Off the B6342 just south of Rothbury OR via Great Tosson village.

Would rate five stars if the summit was a little higher. The local farmer is very friendly and welcomes walkers. This is a beautiful area and a great asset for Northumberland which makes it very popular.
