Clay Bank Car Park

The site is situated about halfway up the slopes of the Cleveland Hills with the fells rising out of the forest to the south and a panorama of Kildale, Roseberry Topping and Teesside stretching away to the North.

How to get there:

Clay Bank Car Park is in Ingleby Greenhow and Broughton Banks.
Follow the B1257 south from Stokesley. The car park is situated approximately 2 miles south of the village of Great Broughton
Stokesley is the nearest town or village.

The view across to the Cleveland Hills is just amazing! You can see Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook's Monument - and enjoy your picnic too. I can also look across to the hills and fondly remember when I walked the whole of the Cleveland Way! (Don't forget your binoculars)....
