I agree there is a problem with dog poo but it is minor these days. There is also a problem with litter in and around the car park. That said, it is the most tranquil and easily accessible place. I go almost everyday with my dog and often go on the other side to the main car park, no-one is ever there, it borders on to beautiful fields. I think people who expect a public woods to be like their own manicured (and probably sterile) back garden need to employ a more realistic frame mind.

Firstly I want to say that this IS A BEAUTIFUL WOOD. More annoying though is the LACK OF litter/dog waste disposal bins (infact, there were NONE). This is dreadful, what do you expect lazy dog owners to do if you do not provide disposal bins. We were forced to drive with dog waste in a plastic bag in the Car!! no wonder people don't pic it up. Please provide means for dog walkers.

Our group much enjoyed a recent walk which took in Stapleford Woods but we were shocked by the amount of litter and dog fouling particularly close to the car park.We appreciate your resources are very stretched-is there anything we can do to help clear up?
