Rode the new(ish) red route on Sunday with my mate and was very impressed seeing as most of it has been done by the locals. Some of the climbs were hard particulary Golliath at the start!!! but overall the feel of the trial is great especially over the back side, just watch out for the rocks and roots as they're bloody slippy. Overall a great trial well worth a visit, my only criticism would be better marking after the 'Tom Foolery' section as some paths did cross which caused a bit of head scratching, but overall a great mornings ride. Will be back

We've checked the way marking and can't find a place where it isn't correct/inadequate, this may be down to us knowing the wood too well. If anyone else is finding the trail hard to navigate please could you let us know with an indication of which section/side of the wood the problem is. Revised map boards on the way soon!
