A great starting point to explore the heathland and ancient woodlands of the New Forest. This quiet location is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the unspoilt beauty of the New Forest.

How to get there:

Pig Bush Car Park is in New Forest. Lyndhurst is the nearest town or village.

From Lyndhurst take the B3056, opposite the fire station, towards Beaulieu. Continue on this road past the Beaulieu Road Hotel and Pig Bush car park is on the right hand side at the top of the hill.

Camping Information on camping in the New Forest can be obtained from Forest holidays either by clicking on the Forest holidays link to the right of the page, or by calling them on 0845 130 8224. ****Please note that wild camping is not allowed in the New Forest. Only use the designated campsites. We also recommend that you book your pitch in advance as the campsites can become very busy in the holiday periods.****
Wildlife Activities The open heath and grass land provides a perfect environment for reptiles, birds and wild flowers.
Barbecue This site is not suitable for having a BBQ as there are not water facilities available for putting it out. For further information on where you can BBQ safely in the New Forest please click on the link to the right.
