About Moston Vale

Created in 2005/6 Moston Vale is 21ha of former landfill that has been redeveloped into open grassland, wildflower meadows and mixed woodland.

Extensive solar powered floodlit pathways guide you across the site. Moston Vale also has a sports area with football pitches which are the home to Moston Valley FC

How to get there:

Harpurhey, Moston, Newton Heath, and Manchester are the nearest towns or villages.

By Road - A62 Manchester to Oldham. Turn off for Harpurhey on B6393 (lightbowne Road) then into Church Lane, behind the Central Park business park.

By rail - Dean lane is the nearest rail station, approximately 1km aest of the site.

can anyone send a picture of moston vale when the house was in yhe ditch there were horses goats if im right the house got demolished due to constant floods

How come nobodys cut the grass in well over a year ????????Moston Vale is supposed to be a place where children can play safely and people can walk there dogs. The state its in now nobody goes near it. Can YOU please get this sorted out A.S.A.P

if the council arnt gonna keep it looking respectable i dont see the point in spending money on the vale in the first place?
