About Cardinham

Cardinham is a beautiful mixed woodland, popular with local dog walkers, cyclists, and horse riders.

A choice of waymarked trails will take you deep into the woods to discover stunning viewpoints and an intriguing history. Then make your way back and stop in at Woods cafe for a cuppa and some homemade cake. Or treat the family to lunch!

Advance Notice

The play area will be closed from Friday 26th March and will re-open on Wednesday 31st March. This is to allow the play area to be re-surfaced.

Please note that there may be some disruption to the car park on Monday 29th March whilst the new surfacing is being delivered.

How to get there:

Bodmin and Fletchers Bridge are the nearest towns or villages.

From Bodmin take the A38 towards Liskeard. 400 metres beyond the Carminnow Cross roundabout follow the brown tourist signs left and then left again into Cardinham Woods.
