A one-way, mile long forest drive winds its way up into the central core of Wendover Woods, past the pay and display machine. Fantastic views along its length look out over the Vale of Aylesbury. There are many things to do on your visit, just look at the activities on the page for more information. There is a small charge for vehicle access within the forest, to assist in the maintenance of the woodland facilities. You can pay on-site at a machine, by mobile phone (location code 8058) or get a season ticket for a year. The woods are closed to vehicles and gates are locked at the following times: November to February at 5pm, March at 6pm (8pm when clocks go forward), April 8pm, May to August 9pm, September 8pm, October 7pm (5pm when clocks go back). The gates are opened by 8am every morning, 365 days a year.
