Kylerhea

About Kylerhea

Kylerhea is a fairly young, mixed conifer plantation on the slopes above the Kylerhea narrows.

This is an atmospheric place with breathtaking views and the opportunity to see a variety of coastal wildlife - including otters, seals and many sea birds.

How to get there:

Kylerhea, Glenelg, Kinloch, Kyleakin, Broardford, and Isle Of Skye are the nearest towns or villages.

Either take the summer ferry from Glenelg on the mainland over to Kylerhea.

Or, from the A850 on Skye, three miles west of the Skye bridge, take the unclassified (and very steep) road to Kylerhea.
