
The project has created an archive of oral recordings, old photographs, written accounts and other materials relating to the early days of the forest. It has also helped to generate interest in the history of the communities that were involved and encouraged others to create their own heritage projects.
The archive is available for public use. It is a valuable educational and social resopurce for the community and for any one interested in the Story of the Forest.
