Forestry Commission Scotland are inviting expressions of Interest to carry out boardwalk creation, footpath creation and footpath upgrading works at Windyhill Woodland, Johnstone in Scottish Lowlands Forest District.
RHODODENDRON CLEARANCE AND REMOVAL
ISLE OF ARRAN
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Forestry Commission Scotland is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and qualified contractors to tender for a contract on the Isle of Arran to clear rhododendron from approximately 15hectares open grown and 50ha under canopy. Open grown rhododendrons will be cut and burnt and under canopy plants will require to be cut and stacked. The resultant stumps will be treated with herbicide.
RECREATION TRAIL ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL WORKS
NORTH HIGHLAND FOREST DISTRICT
The Forestry Commission (FC) will be awarding this contract as a medium term contract agreement, awarded to one supplier, who are able to provide the following in North Highland Forest District:-
- Construction and maintenance of forest trails of all types.
- Construction and maintenance of forest car parks of all types.
- Environmental works including drain blocking and brash moving.
