Each country has a separate grant scheme offering a range of grants for woodland creation, woodland management and other related activities.  Click on the country links on the right-hand map  for more details. Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)		Public Registers
Forestry projects which may have a significant effect on the environment are governed by the EIA regulations.  Follow the left-hand Grants and Licences link for full details.		Grant scheme and felling applications to the Forestry Commission are listed to allow interested parties to submit comments.  EIA decisions are also displayed on a separate register.
Land Information Search (LIS)		Citizen's Charter
Use the Land Information Search tool to find out if there are any features on your property that you may have to take into account when making a grant or felling application.		When we process your application or claim for grant, we aim to do so within certain timescales.
