Great place for a walk with or without a dog. Various routes over to Ashenbank wood etc. Never been bothered by any dog, large or small but its bound to happen & the only person to blame is the owner. Its their responsibility to keep their dog under control at all times & if it can't be trusted off lead then it needs to stay on lead. As for parking fees, as long as its reasonable & improvements continue, then so be it.

I think there should be some toilets there, would be a good idea

As a famiy we really enjoyed the park, we have been a few times now and will definately revisit, aslong as I can still walk my dogs OFF lead. AS for the person complaining about large dogs, I have two very large dogs who are extremely sociable and well behaved, I have found it's the small dogs that attack mine as the trend seems to be that many (not all) small dog owners do not for some reason understand the importance of socializing their dog properly.
