What do other visitors say?

The flat rate charge of 1-50 is reasonable and proportionate if you wish to spend the day at the park as some families wish to do. For the dog walkers amongst us who just wish to walk our dogs in relative safety of the park i feel that a charge of 50 pence should be made available for a period of two hours. This may encourage some people back to the park therefore making money which is the nature of this business! As that is what it is turning into.

Thank you for your comments. In the light of significant public funding cuts, without raising this income Jeskyns cannot continue. An annual pass costs 30 (approx.60p a week) which we feel provides very good value for money for regular visitors most of whom are daily dog walkers.

Spent1:50 to park most areas dogs on leads. No real exercise won't ever return

Anonymous, 16/Mar/2015

Sorry to hear that you did not find the off leads areas. The Dogs on Leads area covers less than 1/5 of the whole site so there is still plenty of space for dogs to exercise off lead.

Nice walk and a nice park....but a shame that the dog walkers have been penalised... There should be a separate charge for 2 hrs at a charge of 50p so that the dog walkers can continue to walk their pets but not at such an extortionate cost. Not all responsible dog owners can afford 1.50 a day.... I doubt people without a dog go there everyday, whereas us dog owners have to. I'll have to find somewhere else to walk my dog...(until the forestry commission takes that over too)

Emma, 13/Mar/2015

Visitors can buy an annual pass for 30. This equates to 60p per week which we feel provides very good value for money for our regular visitors many of whom are dog walkers and are visiting Jeskyns every day.
