THE FEELING ARE OFF TO THE FORESTS

Brit Award nominees for best British Single The Feeling has announced another special forest show as part of the Forestry Commission’s annual ‘Forest Tour’. The bands forest jaunt will be supporting the Forestry Commission’s valuable social and environmental programmes.

The Feeling will be playing High Lodge, Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk on Thursday 12th July. Tickets are £24.00 and go on general sale from 9.00am on Thursday 8th March from Ticket Hotline: 01842 814612 or buy on line: www.forestry.gov.uk/music / www.ticketmaster.co.uk

Commenting on the booking for the Forestry Commission, Thetford Forest, Roger Woods said "We are delighted The Feeling has confirmed this show. They are rising stars of the British music scene and will undoubtedly be a huge hit in our forest.”

Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling says: “We’re really looking forward to doing these Forest shows. Last year we played a few festivals but people didn’t really know our songs. I’m hoping that’ll have changed this year.”

The last year has been huge for The Feeling. Their four singles “Sewn” (March ‘06), “Fill My Little World” (June ‘06) “Never Be Lonely” (August ‘06) and “Love It When You Call” (November ‘06) were all huge hits and the band performed to sell-out audiences wherever they played. The cumulative airplay enjoyed by the band’s four singles meant that The Feeling were the No 1 most played band in the UK in 2006. Their debut album “Twelve Stops And Home” from which all the singles are taken has now sold nearly 700,000 copies (double platinum).
