Alice in woodland Wonderland!

Children on a ranger led event collecting woodland objects

Live open-air theatre is coming to Bedgebury National Pinetum this summer.  On Wednesday 26th August, top London touring company Quantum Theatre will be staging two performances of Alice Through The Looking Glass in Bedgebury's picturesque Walled Garden.

"This is an exciting new event for Bedgebury."

Says Philip Barnes, Bedgebury's Events Manager.

"It's a show that all ages can enjoy and promises to be a highlight of the summer holidays.  Everyone can bring rugs or fold-up chairs and settle down to watch a fun show in a magical setting."

Performances start at 2pm and 6pm and run for one and a half hours, with a 20 minute interval. Refreshments are available or bring a picnic. Special picnic boxes can be pre-booked on 07739 564691.  Easy parking close by.

Tickets priced at £7 for children and £12 for adults are on sale through the Forestry Commission Box Office on 01842 814612 or from Bedgebury Visitor Centre.
