Alice Holt Jungle Book theatre

Chapterhouse Theatre Company brings its lively and fun-filled outdoor production of The Jungle Book to the Forestry Commission’s Alice Holt Forest at 5.30pm on Wednesday 30 July.

Visitors are invited to come along to the show wearing their favourite animal costumes, get their faces painted and really get into the swing of things!

In this beautiful adaptation of The Jungle Book by award winning writer Laura Turner, all your favourite animal characters are brought to life to create an enchanting and fun-filled musical show for children of all ages. Join Mowgli on his wonderful adventures with the loveable and wise Baloo the Bear, the powerful panther Bagheera, not to mention mischievous monkeys and the terrifying tiger Shere Khan.

Richard Main, Producer at Chapterhouse said:

“There is something so magical about nature and how we relate to it that makes seeing Baloo, Ka and Bagheera springing to life incredibly thrilling. This show is funny and touching. It is musical and in places a little bit silly, but at the heart of it is the incredible stories written for a different age but which have remained absolutely timeless.”

Charlotte Magowan, Marketing Manager for the Forestry Commission at Alice Holt said:
