Doves have announced special guests for their special summer concert in Thetford Forest as part of Forestry Commission Live Music 2010.
Cherry Ghost recently supported Doves on their indoor UK tour and already have a highly sought after music industry accolade under their belt as a winner of the Ivor Novello Award for Best Contemporary Song with 'People Help The People'. It’s a local gig for the opening act on the night, The Cheek, hailing from Woodbridge in Suffolk and now generating media interest and a fan base nationwide.
Last month saw the release of ‘The Places Between: The Best of Doves’, a collection of classic songs from their four studio albums - 'Lost Souls', 'The Last Broadcast', 'Some Cities' and 'Kingdom Of Rust'.
Forestry Commission Live Music pays for itself and any profit generated goes back into improving woodlands for both wildlife and for the public to enjoy.
Doves will be performing at Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk, Saturday 12 June.

1. Forestry Commission Live Music takes place each Summer in seven forests locations around the country. Woodland clearings are temporarily transformed into a concert arena creating a safe and relaxed atmosphere for gig-goers.
