Bedgebury wins education award

Forestry Commission England's Bedgebury National Pinetum and Forest, was delighted to have received a Growing Schools Garden Award, recognising Bedgebury as a site offering a high quality education provision.

The award was made by the Department for Education, FACE (Farming and Countryside Education), Growing Schools and BGEN (Botanic Garden Education Network).

"It's wonderful to get this external recognition for the skills and dedication of the entire education team" 

Says Cath Weeks, Bedgebury's Learning & Interpretation Manager. 

"It's a tribute to everyone at Bedgebury, including the Friends of Bedgebury, without whose support we couldn't deliver this important work."
