Giggle Alley lies on a small knoll adjacent to the village of Eskdale Green on the western edge of the Lake District National Park. The woodland extends to nine hectares and includes a beautifully secluded Japanese Garden.
Giggle Alley is greatly valued by the local community and visitors alike who enjoy its diverse woodland character, secluded nature, and Japanese Garden all within a very small area.
This page provides access to the Forest Design Plan for Giggle Alley which is the Forestry Commission's core planning document for this woodland. This document was reviewed and consulted during 2010 and was approved in August 2010.
The Forestry Commission is always happy to recieve feedback about its management of Giggle Alley. Please email any comments to Gareth Browning
