What was the event?
This was one of three events to be held across Scotland in March:
This event provided key stakeholders with an update on the status of the chalara fraxinea (Ash Dieback) disease in Scotland and their local area, how the disease is being monitored and highlighted guidance on how to identify/manage diseased woodland.
This event was run by Forestry Commission Scotland. It involved presentations and discussion from Hugh Clayden, Tree Health Policy Advisor, Forestry Commission Scotland and Dr Steven Hendry, Forest Research. South Scotland Conservator, John Dougan, chaired the event.
